While my kids are little, I try to avoid the baskets full of candy on Easter and use it as an opportunity to restock on some of their craft items, such as new markers, stickers or coloring books, or get them something educational like a book or challenging toy. I always find a way to sprinkle something Easter-themed into the mix, such as bunnies, chicks, eggs, carrots, you know the list.
